As part of the SatApps project contracted by ESA within the ESA IAP ARTES 20 Program, the dedicated workshop for defining the user requirements for the SAT4M2M global data management program “TELDASAT” took place in Luenen, Germany. The workshop showed the innovative approach of new emerging IoT services to be integrated in global waste management. On-following workshops have been agreed on under the leadership of SSI Schaefer, one of the largest total solutions provider in logistics & storage systems and related technologies. REMONDIS, one of the world’s largest recycling, service and water company with 32 000 employees and 800 business locations on 4 continents, confirmed their interest in participating in a Large Scale Pilot with the challenging goal in showing disruptive innovative IoT services during the next “IFAT Trade Fair Exhibition” in Munich, the world leading trade fair for environmental technologies.
